"All outside rooms; and mine was ground level, so I was concerned about parking lot noise, but after 10pm it was quiet. The property was packed, and parking is a little tight, so if you are towing a trailer or have a hitch rack or something, you may need to park on the paved lot, not directly in front of the hotel. This property is just beyond Summerville, so while there's a Dairy Queen adjacent to it, most amenities are about 2.5 miles up the road. The room was clean, but dated. I was exhausted, so the ambiance and decor didn't really matter, but the clean sheets, towels and bathroom were nice. Perhaps it was the time of day (about 7pm), but there was a line out the door to check in. The desk staff was aware of the back up and was pleasant, but professional and prompt, but it did take about 15 minutes to process through.
Breakfast was available at 0600, which was good for an early morning, but the selection did not include any protein (eggs / sausage / bacon); but there was fruit and oatmeal and the usual breads and a few yogurts.
The property was clean, safe and affordable and based on the nearly full occupancy rate, well suited for the majority of travelers. Would I book again, if travelling through? Yes - for cleanliness, safety and affordability."
