"This was a great place for our 2 nights extra stay from our cruise. An easy 45 mins drive from Reykjavik and close to grocery store to stock up for our stay. The cabin is quaint and give you enough privacy to enjoy the beauty of Iceland landscape. The rooms and the loft was lovely."

There was visible dirt throughout the room, and several surfaces that should have been wiped down clearly hadn’t been. The water also had a noticeable sulfur smell, which we understand is normal in Iceland. "Unresponsive host. Has to reach out to Expedia so we can get an access code to enter the property. The key are in a lockbox and make sure you will get the lockbox code prior to coming to the property. The house is okay to spend a night. WiFi is good."

"This was a family friendly stay in a great location near a popular waterfall with access to the south coast attractions. The cottage was well equipped for a family of 4 with a kitchen and nice linens and great blackout shades. There were no instructions for the TV or washer so we struggled with those. The communion could have been better- we didn’t receive the check in email prior to arriving and the check in time says it closed at 4 pm in English on Expedia, but the welcome email actually...

"We ended up getting put into an different equivalent property before our arrival. The host was good about this and we are grateful that the property worked out. So I can't really review the Kornholl Home. Payment processing is an issue we are sorting out. I recommend if you are booking a stay here pay through Expedia as a Pay Now option and not the pay at the hotel. We had no issues with our other stays in Iceland but this one was having issues processing our payment and it was stressing us out...

"Vi havde et dejlig ophold i den hyggelige, store hytte #1. Den lidt ældre hytte havde sin helt egen charme og var meget pæn og rengjordt ved ankomst. Børnene elskede den store hems hvor de sov og kunne se ned til det store køkken/alrum. Selve køkkenet var godt indrettet med stort køleskab, 4 kogeplader, ovn og vask. Vi har dog savnet nogle køkkenredskaber som fx. en palet eller en osteskærer. Hvis man har tænkt sig at booke et længere ophold i hytten er det måske godt at vide at der ikke er...

"Sleeping in a bubble was a great experience! The kids loved it and we each took turns using the bubble rooms. There were two available for us, so it was really nice. Also saw the northern lights from their property, awesome experience."
