It was across the street from the convention center. The motel was good and comfortable. Had to pay for parking there but it was worth it. No breakfast and it was $17 if you wanted, but declined. Embassy Suites Charleston
Room was clean but really warm. Couldn’t cool it down and then couldn’t sleep because it was too hot. Pool was small and cold. Asked several times for towels and it seemed like an inconvenience for them. Long waits for the elevator. Not my favorite place to stay.

DoubleTree by Hilton Huntington
Pool was outdoors and not open for season. Outdoor area closed for private event. Staff was polite no complaints. Did have to ask for our complimentary cookie though. lol.
