One Hundred Shoreditch
The hotel adds a Service Fee on top of the Hotels.com booking price. It is "optional", but it is hidden when you check in (on a screen-based system). The staff and team are lovely, but I strongly object on principle to how the hotel tries to sneak this in without making it obvious.

Vertus Edit Canary Wharf
Room was clean and larger than anticipated and had a kitchen with everything you would need. Only stayed one night but would be a great base for a longer stay. Lots of fabulous restaurants and bars close by and Canary Wharf station is only a short walk away.

Club Quarters Hotel London City
The only drawback at this otherwise lovely hotel is the slightly too high level of noise from other rooms. One easy way to decrease this might be to ensure that there is less of a gap between the floor and the bottom of the room doors.
