"This hotel is ideal for families, especially large families… There are several places to eat in the area or from where one can bring food back, which I noticed several people doing. The staff is incredibly kind… And the evening appetizers and breakfast look as if they were beyond expect expectation. Please note this is a family oriented, hotel meaning lots and lots of children with parents who are on vacation and maybe not as diligent as they would be otherwise. For me, the pool was unusable because of the screaming, running and jumping (my concern would be that it was a liability waiting to happen) and the same goes for the evening appetizers get-together. I was traveling alone and there’s no way I could enjoy it. The restaurants in the area close early although I did find a ‘much better than expected’ Mexican food place a very short walk from the hotel. I had a meeting in Collins, so the location was good. I was told that the company has a sister hotel near the arch in St. Louis, which again if I was traveling as a family with children or grandchildren sounds like it would be ideal."

"Our stay at the Drury was wonderful. The amenities were nice, staff was warm and kind and the hotel is conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. It was a perfect location for us to enjoy Shawnee National Forest. We will definitely return. Thanks to everyone there."
