"I just had a 2 night stay at the hotel. The interior and exterior of the property are clean and well maintained. The exception is the pool. I booked the hotel for the outdoor pool, but it is very dirty and the deep end is green. This was consistent through my stay. Breakfast was ok, slighly better than a continental. They serve HOT boiled eggs which was bizarre, I would expect boiled eggs to be cold, and instead have scrambled eggs for breakfast along side the bacon and potato wedges. There is only 1 waffle maker, so there was about a 15 minute wait for a waffle. The attendant did well making sure things stayed stocked. My worst encounter was the bartender. She is not knowledgeable, and not only has zero personality, but is downright rude. We had planned to eat at the bar, but after being ignored, for several minutes, then met with a poor attitude and rudeness, we ordered drinks (settled on a beer since she lacked the skill/knowledge make an actual drink) and chose to door dash instead. She also added an 18% gratuity. I'm always an at least 20% tipper, but since she chose to add on 18%, that's all she got that night. The setup is strange, you have to take your check to the front desk to pay (card only). Would I choose to stay here again, probably not. It is not convenient to anything except the interstate, but the hotel itself is clean, and a seemingly safe place if you just need a place to sleep."
