"Maria was exception. She listened to my concerns and assured me that my room would be set when I got back. I heard her explain it to the manager. My room was not ready when I arrived at 6:30 and she told the manager that I would just drop my bags and come back later. When I came back the manager was rude sucking her teeth responding to another guest rudely. She nastily informed me that at 10pm my room was still not available. I was quite surprised since I was promised that it would be. The manager explained that she was going to put us in a queen bedroom (which we reserved a king). At 10pm I was not going to argue since we just wanted to get some sleep after a long day. She repeated many times that it is considered an upgrade. I just wanted what we reserved nothing more.
I saw Maria again at check out and she apologized for the management and assured me that this is not the norm. Everyone else we came in contact with with the exception of the manager at the desk was very nice and professional."
