"The person who was staying above room 214 was making a bunch of noise and sounded like they were running around the room - It was 2am! Made a complaint and asked if we could get a refund for the night or any other accommodations, but all the was offered was a breakfast voucher and a check out extension is 1pm. This was frustrating and handled poorly in my opinion."

"The layout of the room as a whole may work for a family of three such as us when we were staying, but it can easily become an issue if anyone wants proper privacy within the room. The layout of the bathroom having only a curtain to separate it from the room can cause major privacy issues once the shower is in use due to its position and lack of separated space. Additionally, even with the curtain, the lack of any hooks or fastening makes it for a sloppy and easily disturbed privacy matter."

"This was a very nice hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. It was also quiet and I got a good night's sleep. I needed an early ( like 4 am) shuttle to the airport and everything was arranged and went smoothly. I would definitely recommend to others and I would come again."

"Book threw a 3rd party and needed a handy cap room. So when we got there the staff and manager was so understanding. All the employees were awesome. Only thing is by that he spa at night two many roaches the big one from out side. And the spa should have been cleaned early next morning: other than that I loved it and didn’t even mind our spider friends who visited our bathrooms and early morning. I old I stay there and recommend it to friends. With out a doubt. It was awesome."

"This property exceeded all of my expectations except for one. The good the staff was excellent they were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The room was a single king with bed, lounge chair, wall mounted work area, refrigerator and TV; all fairly standard. More importantly the room was very clean and the air conditioner worked very well. The bad the lounge chair sat very low and uncomfortable. The worst part of the room was the very and way to soft mattress had some back soreness in...

"Nice hotel, probably the best you are going to find in downtown Sacramento, very historic. Great rooms, beautiful restaurant. If you plan on walking anywhere, be prepared to be approached by aggressive homeless and panhandlers. Not the hotels fault, the city doesn't seem to care about this problem, in fact they seem to welcome it. Parking is $47 - A DAY! Valet only, add a tip to that!"

"Hands down the best hotel in Sacramento! They upgraded our room to a corner room with a beautiful view of the capitol. There was live music at the bar and lobby area. We absolutely enjoyed it here and highly recommend staying here!"
