"The resort is beautiful and located in top of a small mountain overlooking the city of Sparti and olive groves. It’s an easy drive to town and most local attractions. It is a locally owned hotel and the staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. Demetrios and Gianna and the entire staff were extremely helpful in organizing a large family dinner for 25 and everyone was impressed with the food, the location and staff. We highly recommend the hotel!"

"Our family absolutely loved our stay at Melies Hotel Sparta. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth that we immediately felt like part of the family. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained, offering the perfect blend of comfort and elegance. It was the ideal place to unwind and enjoy our vacation in Sparta. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible farm-to-table cuisine. Every breakfast was a feast, with creamy Greek yoghurt, freshly baked pastries, seasonal fruit, made-to-order omelettes, delicious crepes, and so many other fresh local specialties. It was something we looked forward to each morning. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the hospitality. Demetrios, Gianna, and their wonderful team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their kindness, generosity, and genuine care created an experience that was so much more than a hotel stay. We especially cherished the daily visits with their grandfather, whose warmth and stories added such a special touch and made us feel like we were visiting family rather than staying at a hotel. Thank you for making our time in Sparta so memorable. We left with wonderful memories, grateful hearts, and the hope of returning one day. If you’re looking for authentic Greek hospitality, exceptional food, and a place where you’ll be treated like family, Melies Hotel Sparta is simply outstanding."
