"The accommodation was great, however the coffee kettle was dirty with coffee residue when I arrived and I couldn't make my coffee."

"Beautiful location overlooking the river. Staff was very friendly. Mattress could be replaced. It sinks in the middle quite a bit. It was ok for a night, but would have been rough any more than that. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay!"

"The draw to this property is the location to the ark and that you can walk to the Mexican restaurant. It's an older hotel with old fixtures so if you're very picky you won't like it. I have stayed several times and the rooms are clean with a coffeemaker, microwave, and fridge. I like the staff there. They offer a basic continental breakfast."

"We ended up turning tail and leaving before our sty. The entire place looked manky and deserted; couldn't even locate an office. In the middle of nowhere; the advertised cafe was closed and for sale. We are two older ladies traveling alone and were afraid to stay there."

"Mattresses are in bad shape, so worn you roll to the middle. Never saw a staff member at The Lodge other than check in at main hotel whom was very pleasant and accommodating. Place just looks tired inside but was very quiet in The Lodge which I appreciate for a hotel. "

"Parking was a little bit out of the way. But I guess we enjoyed the walk. It was a little bit more so when it was raining because we were loading up our car. Disappointed that there wasn’t a microwave in the room because we ate at the restaurant and would’ve liked to warm up our food."
