"The room was nice and spacious, the service impeccable, the gym was small but had free towels you could use and ice-cold water, which was great! The staff was so nice and you even get a free public transport voucher to use, so you can see Basel all you want!"

"The bed was comfortable, and the room itself was tiny; but the staff was not an impediment, but also not at all helpful-- expressing a neutrality that is perhaps appropriate for a place on the Swiss border. The property around the hotel seems to be completely fenced, and there's nothing of note around. The sort of place to spend the night if you're getting into the airport late."

"This was most the horrible hotel ever our room had spiders hairs used cups and wasnt cleaned. And something red maybe blood? Walls were made out of paper you could here the whole hotel."

"Arrivée 11h30 impossible d'accéder au hall d'entrée. code non fonctionnel. Après aide sur parlophone, en composant le code N° de chambre , l'occupant pensait que j'étais un cambrioleur. Nouvel intervention au parlophone pour connaître le bon N° de chambre, celui indiqué était erroné. Tout çà pour apprendre que d'autre compétiteur à une finale sportive ont payés 20 euros de moins à l'autre B&B à 2 km. Pas de quoi pavoiser... Déçu."

"Clean room, great facilities. Excellent value for money and in a great location to explore the surrounding areas. Staff are friendly. We would stay again 100% The only downside was needing a kettle but not a deal-breaker. They do have a coffee maker but no coffee pods "

"Das Maximilian ist ein in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Es ist ordentlich und sauber, dennoch ist die Einrichtung in die Jahre gekommen. Das freundliche Personal und das kostenfreie Parken machen vieles wett. Wir haben es als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit genutzt bevor wir am frühen Morgen zum Euro Airport weiter gefahren sind. "
