"Breakfast room was very small, my chair at my table was at the front door and half on the tile by of the lobby. There were no spoons for breakfast..only knives and forks…how does one eat oatmeal, cereal, etc.? There was no staff member to ask for a spoon either. Breakfast space was too small to accommodate guests."

"Our room was very spacious. The facility was very clean, the breakfast was great, and it had all the amenities you would need for a short stay. We had a few small problems that were immediately resolved. This hotel is very close to Corning without the hefty pricing of hotels in Corning itself. I would visit this site again!"

"The remote for the tv never worked correctly. On top of not turning the TV on or off went to the front desk twice could only change the channels down and then it would loop all the way back again could never make the channel changer change upward also down where our car is bark, my wife saw a big butcher knife, sitting on top of an air conditioner. We thought it was strange but the next morning we got up and left back home."

"Swimming pool was out of service, no breakfast available, toilet made a constant leaking water noise, they took away wet towels but didn't restock clean towels our first night, crowds of smokers outside the exit doors and chatting loudly outside our room window on the final night from 8 to 10 pm."

"The price was definitely more reasonable than hotels in Corning and room was clean enough, but bathroom definitely needs better maintenance. Nice grassy sitting area off of parking lot. No coffee or other food available, but a Panera and Starbucks were nearby for breakfast."

"The room was clean and well proportioned with a good sized shower and bathroom. The small fridge had the only working freezer out of multiple Hilton properties we stayed in. Really appreciated it! The staff were all friendly and helpful."

"I had to make last minute reservations and Econolodge Elmira was easy to work with and reasonably price. They were helpful on the phone when I was call about a late night arrival to the airport and trying to find transportation. The ELM airport is small and closes up rather early so taxi service was sketchy."

"First let me say the staff was great at check in and check out. The room was clean, beds very comfy—too bad I couldn’t sleep anyway because of the noise. We could hear people in the halls, we could hear people talking in the parking lot. We could hear doors slamming. In the middle of the night, a trash truck came and emptied several dumpsters at the property next door. We really heard that. There was some mold in the shower.
