Great location, amazing ocean views, nice rooms, housekeeping service good. Complimentary breakfast is pretty awful. No restaurant or store on the property. No place to get ice, beverages or water for drinking. Breakfast staff not very friendly. Within walking distance to town and beach which is wonderful. The beach has great loungers and umbrellas, which we used everyday at no additional charge.

The hotel is super well located facing the beach and the staff is really nice. The property is aged and can be noisy but that is the price you pay to be so well located. One major benefit is the parking situation and the access to Sperlonga historic center by foot in 10 minutes.

Bit outdated room and overall experience. Only three stars, not four as they claim. Beach was nice but you had to pay for beach towels. Breakfast was quite poor and it took very long to get coffee served to you (no coffee machine).

We enjoyed our stay. The daily breakfast on the terrace overlooking the ocean was a lovely way to start each day. The pool and beach area were lovely. We enjoyed the proximity to the local shops and restaurants.

The Grand Hotel La Playa was an excellent hotel, loved the access to ocean and the views from the balcony in my room. The standard breakfast was amazing and the overall experience was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to any who wish to stay in the area.

They let us check in early and helped us get a 2 hour taxi when the trains went on strike. Everyone was great. Dinner starts later so be prepared for most restaurants to open at 8 pm

Abbiamo soggiornato solo un giorno. Ottima posizione (spiaggia e centro citta'). Personale gentile. Parcheggio interno gratuito. Forse le camere andrebbero rinnovate, perche' il prezzo potrebbero alzare un po' le aspettitive. La struttura nel suo insieme e' piacevole.

Can’t say enough good about the staff members! They were great. The hotel is cute but old and probably needs more attention on renovations. The rooms were ok, would have loved some extra attention on cleaning. The bedding was not great. Although the view is breathtaking, as it’s right in the sea. Beach nice and clean, the pool is a wonderful plus.

Sperlonga is a wonderful place! The hotel was at a perfect distance from the old town, a short walk in (10min) while avoiding the late night noice. The hotel is really nice with a good pool and sunbeds that are included in the room rate (unusual for Italy). The only negative part was the breakfast. Many choices if you like sweets but nothing healthy and steady. The scrambled eggs were made from powder and were not good. However, despite the breakfast, we’d really like to come back to this hotel.

This hotel probably saw its peak in the 1970’s. Aside from the fact that it’s right on a beautiful beach, there isn’t too much that’s great about it. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Our room hadn’t been updated since the 70’s and smelled strongly of mould. Beds were hard as rocks and shower was so small you could barely lift your arms to shampoo your hair. Breakfast was meh. Really no redeeming qualities aside from the beach. And it was expensive for the condition of the hotel. I would not recommend.
