"Clean, friendly staff, cozy feel, large tv, and overall a wonderful stay! Our only suggestion would be a fan in the bathroom since steam quickly builds. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend the Hillside Hotel. "

"The hotel looks beautiful on the outside. We checked into our room and the minute I opened the room door all I could smell was mold/mildew. The window was painted shut. I went down to the desk and asked for a room with a window that opened, they had one available. The exterior of the window was covered in black mold/mildew. But the room didn't smell horrible. There were no bath towels provided in the room. Which I hadn't noticed until the morning when I was ready to shower. There was a nice "speakeasy" in the lowest floor of the hotel."

"The hotel and room were okay, and the breakfast was good. However, I was disappointed to find a large stain on my sheets that I didn’t notice until the morning. As far as the checkout experience. I waited about 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk, but no one showed up. While I was standing there, I checked my email and saw I needed to check out electronically. There was no communication about this beforehand, so I had no way of knowing."

"New, up-to-date. Small rooms but efficient for a short stay. Everything we needed was available. The breakfast was better than expected for this category of hotel."

"I would do more research the next time I am staying in the area. It was an ‘okay’ stay, the pool was not open(which was expected for this time of year), the gym only consisted of 3 machines & a yoga mat(which given the cleanliness of other places in the hotel I would not touch) the vending machines did not work. The chairs in the lobby were completely stained, I stood to eat instead. The breakfast was good, my kids had choices so that was a plus. There were spots in our bathroom that concerned me for mold factors. For a quick stay it would work, and without kids. Lesson learned."
