"The set-up for the room was definitely interesting. Right at the front entrance there's a landing area to put your bags and a little coffee counter, and the bathroom. The bedroom was up a very narrow set of circular stairs. The quarters were set up nicely considering the vertical layout, but we found it a bit tight. Going down those stairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night would not be ideal if you're not very able bodied. The staff was over the top wonderful, helpful and communicative and the location of the room was amazing."

If you like older buildings with beautifully renovated rooms capturing their history, this is the place. As for the soul of this location is Ileana. She will make you her guest and provide you all you need to know about her beautiful town One note, if you have physical difficulties this may not be the best place. The historic center doesn’t allow vehicles, is quite hilly, and primarily cobblestone paths. "

"We loved our stay here. It is a beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location to explore Monopoli. The beach area is right across the street and many great amenities in the area. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed the rooftop pool and lounge area. And breakfast was perfect. We will stay here again!"

"A quaint and cool harbor of comfort during a pouring rain, which made our stay in Monopoli outstanding. Gabriella was particularly warm and inviting, a very friendly and courteous host and guide...her radiance overpowered the terrible weather! The room was one-of-a-kind, the perfect example of luxury, bespoke accommodations.The tub and fireplace were lovely features. The site--a former fishmonger's worksite directly on the harbor--added a historical significance. And the to-order breakfast was tasty and cheerfully delivered.
