Rain Forest Resort Village

"Room was clean. Ashley was friendly and helpful though we only communicated through messages and phone. It was interesting it was called a resort as not our idea of a resort. Parking challenging with so many big trucks taking more that a spot to park. We appreciated it was clean and beds fairly comfortable as we were pretty tired. Could not get the WiFi or TV to work. Appreciated an frig and microwave being in the room. You could hear people in the other room."

"Corner room in the lodge had a beautiful view of the lake and grounds. Nice sitting areas outside and inside the lodge. Only complaint was that pillows were way too thick."

"The staff was friendly, easy checkin- and checkout. Being disabled, we had a floor unit which was easy to manage. After leaving we noticed that my cane had been left behind. I called and asked about having it sent to me C.O.D., Management carefully located it, and returned my call. They sent it and did so without any charge. I greatly appreciate their kindness. Genuinely referring anyone that is traveling thru Shelton to book into the friendly Shelton Lodge."

"A little outdated and the property needs a fresh coat of paint but our room was clean and staff were so friendly and helpful. There’s a cute trail in the back which is a plus for kids. Will be back when in Hoodsport!"
