There were no check-in instructions provided with the confirmation email, and the hotel would not answer the phone number. As a result, I was sitting in their parking lot until 1:30am, and hotels.com was not helpful at all. This hotel should not accept last minute bookings, if they are not available 24 hours/day, and it's concerning that they do not answer the published phone...

The villa was absolutely beautiful and spotless, and the pool quickly became the kids’ best friend throughout the holiday. The old town of Rethymno was just a 20-minute drive away. Man kann in der Anlage richtig schön entspannen und seine Auszeit genießen. Absolute Empfehlung und auch gerne mal wieder.
