Pros: they clearly just remodeled everything. Rooms were clean overall.
Cons: There is no front desk and horrible communication. We were not told that they were remodeling when we booked. The night before we were messaged that the pool and hot tub were not going to be available for our entire stay. This was one of the things that caused us to book here because my daughter loves to swim outside after hiking. The only thing they offered was that we could cancel our reservation. With less than a day's notice, there was no way to do this. Everything was booked or crazy expensive. We were given a room that had no parking anywhere near it, and my husband was on crutches. We had to drag our bags and my husband a long distance to get to the room. Again, with no front desk, I had no way to deal with this in a timely manner. When I would text, I'd get an auto response that was wrong half the time, then an hour later I'd get a real response.
The morning we went to check out, I followed the instructions to get ice and water for our water bottles and cooler, but the room was locked and the construction workers said the machine wasn't plugged in yet. I texted for help. It said to go to another building. I did. Walked all the way around the building. Couldn't get in. We were late to our destination because I spent 20 minutes trying to get ice. Finally, an hour later, after we left and had to buy ice and water elsewhere, I got a text saying they could bring some ice to me on 20 minutes.
