Gotta be kidding!! Middle of remodel, crap absolutely everywhere. Dodging around all kinds of things. At this point elevators not readable but they couldn’t accommodate us on the first floor. I asked them to call Expedia to get our refund. Told us WE had to contact Expedia but failed to tell us that they have to approve Expedia giving us our money and they refused when Expedia called. To ride to claim that because the elevator works but is just not accessible it’s not their problem. They essentially lied to me at the desk. They could have offered to take the luggage up for us but didn’t. Expedia made it good after a 30 minute wait, but Best Western, and particularly this property which I have stayed at many, many, many times over the years gets a huge black mark. Last two visits have also had deteriorating situation. Very sad, and cheating is completely unacceptable.

The hotel is doing some renovations. But what I liked is the king size bed. My 3 kids fits in the bed. The room is clean and organized. It also has a pull-out sofa bed. There is a laso a balcony but since they are renovating, can’t stay in the balcony because there are scraps blocking the view. They also have a wide variety of foods to choose for breakfast.

Unfortunately, under renovation. Tripping hazards for older folks.The front desk was understaffed & the person manning the desk had to handle major multitasking. Our recently renovated room was nice with a large handicap shower, except there was no place to hang clothes & shower stall needed a place for bar soap. Downstairs there was an awesome coffee machine in the lobby with several specialty coffee options.

When I booked the reservation I did not know the hotel was being remodeled. There was noise. What I do want to say the staff was wonderful. There was a problem with the sink in my room and a gentleman named Joe did an excellent job repairing it and it was not an easy repair. When I return to Springfield I certainly will stay at this hotel.

It was still under costraction, room size much bigger upgraded new hotel, refrigerator is very good size if you're traveling with family. Still room need small toutch up, i had to unplug batg tub water stop when i took shower. It was still fresh paint in room that might got little headache, might be ok by another 3 weeks passing by.

Construction was taking place most areas of property including two doors down from lobby where there was major construction and noise. The AC/heat made a horrendous noise all night and the crack/slit above door could have let a dog in the room. It was that wide! I’ve stayed in many best westerns but this one is not recommended !

WAY overpriced! I felt ripped off. The property was under construction and was unsafe and loud. I was there for a marathon and couldn’t sleep because of the construction. This place should not have been open. Because of construction parking was limited. The staff was unfriendly and rude. I have stayed at a lot of best western hotels and had a good experience. Unfortunately this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The property is undergoing an update. We stayed in a king accessible room. The shower made life easy and a stool was provided. The wall of the shower was damaged and duct taped together. The floor is a little slippery and would benefit from more texture or small grouted tiles. There was no soap dish in the shower. The grab bars were great. The other suggestion would be to lower the bed so it's easier for a handicapped person to get into it. The bed was also a little too soft for me. I was getting a hospital procedure the next day so did not sleep much. But the facility was very quiet and I only heard a few small noises from other guests. I did not get to eat breakfast but my husband was happy with his. Also thanks for having the small snacks available for purchase at not too exorbitant prices. It made it easier not having to go to the store in the Gateway area. The man who checked us in that evening was great--very friendly, professional, and efficient. He made us feel welcomed.

This was one of nicest Best Westerns I have stayed in. The rooms were very comfortable and nicely appointed. The staff was very friendly and informative. Would definitely stay there again when I am in the Eugene area.

Their system was down when we got here at 9:30 pm, so we had to wait 30 minutes. Then it came back up and they couldn’t find the Expedia reservation. No amount of confirmation info or calls with Expedia would help speed up the process. We spent over 1.5 hours in the lobby getting it worked out. My first mistake was going with Best Western rather than a more customer friendly facility. Overall, the room was OK, it smelled nice and seemed to be clean, though the basic facilities are dated. On a good note, they kindly opened breakfast for us a little bit early so we could make it to a tournament on time. I never leave bad reviews but this was a mess.

We attempted to check you in using your personal card temporarily, but you had refused to let us authorize your personal card. Because our system was down, the Expedia reservation had not come through. We did try to explain this to you as well. We apologize that there was nothing more that could have been done to make the check in faster.

The woman at ✔️ in was pretty snappy and very short with her responsiveness. We booked this due to it having a pool. The pool was closed for the season. There was painting going on and the painters were nicer than the woman at checkin. I don't think we will come back to this location. Plus side.. the cleaning ladies were wonderful! They should be running the front counter! The rooms were spotless!

Had a great night here. Staff was amazing. Very friendly, and helpful with recommending Hops Valley restaurant to eat at. The room was very spacious and the bed was super comfy. Would definitely stay again if we were are ever in the area again.

The site I booked stated there was a laundry room, sauna, gym, ect. Nope! Closed for remodeling. Had to drag my laundry to a laundromat down the road. My body aches and in town for a Slocom re heck and booked this place because of the sauna but it was closed for remodeling. The upstairs neighbors were stomping all night for our entire visit. The neighbors dog was barking off and on while our dog was silent. We paid extra for a third level room with a balcony with our service dog. When we arrived they shoved us into a ground level room with a small patio. The breakfast was a nice perk but served same thing every morning and they ran out of things like bacon because of other neighbors taking a wasteful plateful and the hotel didn’t make more so we would do without. No courtesy waters, have to pay $2/bottle. It’s the little things that disappointed us.

Older property. Staff was super friendly. No curtain in our room and the heating/cooling unit was loud/clunky. It was not 'ewe' but just older and not updated.

Broken heater in the first room. Ice maker on 3rd floor is broken and, “has been broken for a while,” according to staff. They’ve “run out of extra pillows.” Horrible threadbare towels. Typical Best Western! They are really unwilling to work with us stating issues with “booking through a 3rd party (hotels.com)

The stay was decent, my bed was broken on the left side so I had to stick to the right or it would roll. The staff was very nice and accommodating. As for the area around it, there is a large population of drug deals/users around the area which is why I gave it 1 star.
