"Bed was comfortable and lovely FOH staff. The bathroom was dity, toothpaste splatter on the mirror and the tap crusty. The bar was never staffed - at one point I had 3 staff look at me and walk past me without any acknowledgement, ended up going to a restaurant. Regret the pool view, had screaming children in there until 10pm. Overall an ok stay."

"Beautifully presented hotel, looks well maintained, nice beds and great amenities. Great breakfast. A bit out of the city, so you can't walk to restaurants, but only a short drive, or you can just eat in. Good spot to launch hiking or mountain biking from."

"Overall a charming property with a very spacious room at a good rate. A/C and heating both worked very well. Great location right within walking distance to main dining and shopping area. Couple things to note is there is no elevator at the property but staff was able to assist with bringing luggage up. It is also private entrance to the rooms, like motel style"

"This is a lovely hotel in a prime location. I hadn’t been to Rotorua before so had no idea of where things were. Quest was near everywhere I wanted to go! The room was tidy and spacious. Staff were lovely."

"It was good. Nothing outstanding but nothing wrong as such. Rooms are clean and tidy and reasonably modern. Bathrooms need to be redone to reflect the price but nothing wrong, just old as such. Our room wasn’t available 2 queen beds booked but that set up had been oversold so we were compensated with breakfast which was ok but not ideal. There were a number of people with this issue at reception. It’s good for kids with its location close to town/restaurants/lake/playground, pool and kids...
