"Room off to the side of the hotel were very outdated, Cobb webs in the corners and ceilings, floor was old, spongy and broken in a few places that would catch your foot that could possibly be a fall hazard. The rooms in the main hotel may be better, but I have no idea."

"We had a very quick overnight stay, and did arrive fairly late. Even though we had contacted the hotel that we were coming, we still had to wait a good 10 minutes for any staff member to check us in. The hotel rooms were dated but clean. The location is BEAUTIFUL. Overall it worked fine for what my family needed for the evening.."

"Rooms not clean at all,(had to clean everything and I mean everything). Air conditioner filter has never been changed. So much dirt and the refrigerator was filthy. Iron but no ironing board. Sooo glad we brung disposable sheets, pillowcases and comforter cover with us. If they Hired the proper cleaning team, then maybe they have a chance. But from what we experienced, I would not recommend this place to nobody"

"After driving til almost 3 in the morning with 2 kids and going to the wrong hotel first we walked in and I was so happy with the room and thought I would book with this hotel more often Then we realized the toilet had issues flushing, there is no sound proofing and I got maybe 2 hours sleep as a result. In the morning someone was playing with their door and it kept slamming over and over. Then, we weren’t that close to the ice machine but it might as well have been in my room. Whoever was on top of me it sounded like they were running, playing basketball and rolling something for hours. When we were leaving the cleaning staff left their cart in the middle of the hall and we literally couldn’t get by with the luggage. No one at the desk asked how things were or seemed like they cared. After leaving I checked my reservation and found I was overcharged and then for some reason they charged me an extra $20 and I don’t know why. I have yet to call and talk to management about this because I am still trying to get home. We were on a very long 14 hr road trip south and back and stayed in 3 hotels. This was easily the worst. Such a shame because it was beautiful and could have been a new favorite"

"They left the light on for us... One of the few location near Roanoke that did not jack up their prices for VA Tech graduation weekend... Clean except for a significant stain on one of the pillow cases... Towels were like Brillo pads, but good for exfoliating dead skin cells... Heat and AC worked well...Bed was comfy. Decent kitchenette in room... Some noise from the adjacent interstate."
