"I love this hotel, we've been going here since it was the Monterey in the late 90s. It's clean, the staff is great and the location is in the historic area right on the bay. You just park your car and there is no need to get back in it till you leave. The trolly stops right in front and you can get off and on all day in the historic area."

"Room was clean enough, housekeeping was right on it when i asked for a small problem to be remedied. Staff was friendly and responded quickly! Parking was perfect! A/C was more than adequate. "

"The AC kept the room comfortable, BUT the chair is positioned directly in front of the AC vents....making sitting in that chair very uncomfortable. "

"No view of the pool or ocean. The pool wasnt even heated and was too cold to swim in. The kids were so disappointed with being unable to swim in the ocean with it being so cold and too strong and then not even being able to use the pool. There was no hot tub either. The breakfast was overpriced and so bland. It was our first time in St. Augustine and will be our last with this experience. "
