Top St. Augustine Hotel Reviews

Guy Harvey Resort on St Augustine Beach
10/10 Excellent
"Food was very good . Staff very friendly and made you feel welcome. Our only drawback was the bathroom very small no where to put your toiletries . Beautiful property. Especially loved beach access for morning sunrise and getting to see osprey nest on property. "

Villa 1565
4/10 Poor
"Room was very basic but the floor was filthy, my bare feet after my shower were black in less than a minute
One threadbare and very stained chair in the corner
Didn’t stay to rate the breakfast "

AC Hotel St. Augustine Downtown
8/10 Good
"The stay was pretty good. The breakfast was interesting and confusing at the same time. Expect to spend $18 dollars for a single breakfast there. The location is perfect, you can walk and visit just about everywhere around St Augustine."

The Flagler Inn
2/10 Terrible
"This was my 4th trip to St Augustine. .decided stay on the outskirts, as the Flagler offered on site parking+ got good reviews . Most of those reviews must’ve been written by friends /family of the owners the breakfast was disgusting, I got sick after eating a bagel with cream cheese. Do not stay here!."

Hampton Inn St. Augustine Downtown Historic District
6/10 Okay
"Everything was just okay. Nothing special or memorable. The placement of our room was terrible. We heard the ice machine all night and the shower floor in the room made creaking noises when you are standing on it and put out very minimal water. I have had much better rooms on cruise ships. Not impressed at all and will look for different options if there is ever a next time."

Hyatt Place St. Augustine/Vilano Beach
6/10 Okay
"The location is perfect, close to the historical site. The cleaning staff could be friendlier. We passed 3 and no good morning or smiles. Same as the staff during breakfast. The biggest thing I didn't like was waiting for the checking in till 4pm. Especially when you are driving a long way you just want to go to the hotel and rest. You check in at 4pm and check out by 11am. That is not enough time to use any of the facilities that you offer. Overall the the hotel was clean, not noisy and adequate."

DoubleTree by Hilton St. Augustine Historic District
10/10 Excellent
"breakfast was great. Bar and Bar Tender were excellent. Good location with parking. "

Homewood Suites by Hilton St. Augustine San Sebastian
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the space but absolutely did not like the open sink area, sleeping people do not want to hear your noise. The shower/ toilet area was not enough space for privacy, just very disappointed with that bathroom/ sink layout. Another, very obvious issue was the smeary cleaning job on the appliances, didn’t look clean at first impression upon arrival, ughhh….
Otherwise the staff were courteous and very accommodating, we enjoyed our stay"

Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach
8/10 Good
"The property and the room were great, staff was very helpful on all shifts. Bed and pillows were comfortable. We needed to ask once in our 5 day to have the room serviced but the rest of the time the room was taken care of very well. Our 4th floor beachside balcony gave us a very nice view each day. Our final evening on the balcony was ruined by someone smoking a cigar nearby. Breakfast was usual hotel food with eggs and waffles and cereals and pastries. My main issue was the beach. The hotel is on the beach but it is a very long walk across soft sand to the water and once near the water there is a 4 to 5 foot drop to get to the water's edge and it is a fairly long walk again to get to a spot where it is easy to get down and the up again. The hotel is within walking distance to some very good restaurants and there is a paid trolly service to downtown St Augustine. It was a very nice stay for my wife and I but we wished the ocean was more accessible"
