"Our room did smell when we first checked in. I used room spray to help combat the smell. The front office thought it might have been the water the cleaner used to mop with. By the 2nd day the smell was better. The room is nice but I don’t like being on the 2nd floor and going up and down the stairs but apparently that is all they have available. "The view from our room was the absolute best part of our stay at the Edgewater Inn. The Inn is quaint and could definitely use some updating (chipped deck, cracks in the ceiling, etc), but overall is a pleasant stay. The room we stayed in could have used a good mopping and a wipe down in some areas, but the bed was comfortable and the ac worked perfectly. The views are amazing (day and night) and it’s in such a close proximity to all that Saint Augustine has to offer."
