"It was a clean room The staff was awesome I really enjoyed the breakfast choices in the morning and it was a comfy cozy area for breakfast and the evening if you wanted to go downstairs to the pub and have dinner you could because it was good I'd recommend staying there and I would stay again"

Fantastic amenities, a lovely twin room with a beautiful bathroom, there was even a Lymington wide power cut at breakfast time and the staff were excellent, doing all they could to keep things running as smoothly as possible and get us all fed. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is fabulous."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. Good location as we were planning to catch the ferry from Lymington. Nice gardens. Very helpful staff especially Yan who was knowledgeable about the wines. Very comfortable bed and evening meals were delicious. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing stay"

"The biggest issue was how freakishly hot the hotel and our room was. It was a mild April day yet our room, even with the windows open stayed very very hot. No air con either. Super uncomfortable + stuffy and did not sleep well as a result. Strange given dog centric hotel. Except for that it’s an ideal hotel if wanting a break away with your 4 legged friend. The secure enclosure at the back was super handy. Much thought goes into making the stay comfortable for your pet. "

"Lovely little place with nice ambience in a nice location. The breakfast and choices included in the price was great. My only one suggestion is re the sofa bed - matress is really not comfortable and too thin. Maybe at the very least a mattress topper could be used if the whole mattress cant be changed."

"Very pleasantly surprised by the well presented hotel, designed to be in keeping with it's original features intact, along with more quirky elements in the decor. The lounge was very comfortable and spacious, and felt like we had stepped back in time to the nineteen twenties. The food was excellent, both as the main meal and the included breakfast, which was a broad menu. The room was very clean, the shower excellent, with pleasant little touches around the choice of teas. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and quietly efficient. The surroundings were lovely, with lengthy walks available in both directions along the coast. For the price we had a short but very comfortable stay. Would recommend and we will definitely be back."

"We stayed on a busy Friday night for the bank holiday and the hotel was lovely. Great check in staff but a terrible experience in the Salt Bar for 2 simple drinks, over 30 minutes to get served and generally chaotic. Breakfast was an effort, with no plates for the buffet, no glasses at the buffet (placed on tables but not told to take them up for juice etc), Orders were not taken in a logical manner, hot drinks took an age to arrive and tables were not cleared properly or checked before seating people. A generally chaotic service which was quite stressful for us and others seated near us. That said, the breakfast food was great when it came out and the coffees were very nice just all a bit hectic and not very fast. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Walhampton Arms. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient with assisting in our requests. This is a great place to stay to experience the local town. You get the perks that come with staying in a hotel balanced with the “mom and pop” feel associated with B&Bs. We will be looking to stay at their sister locations for our next city break! "
