The Savoy Jersey

The Savoy Jersey

8/10 Good
"We had room 100, which was lovely and spacious. Very clean and a useful fridge. We appreciated the bottles of water. There is no air con, so this is not great, especially with the temperatures! Also our window opened out onto other living accommodation and some evenings they were having a barbecue under our window, which was smelly. Not sure what fuel they were using! The breakfast each morning was lovely and plentiful. We didn't have an evening meal so can't comment on that. All in all a good stay at The Savoy."

"We stayed 4 nights early August. The hotel is made up of 2 buildings but joined together. So you can go from one side to another without issue. Other than the stairs if you have a room in the older part of the building. We stayed on 3rd floor but after taking lift had to use stairs to get in to the old building. Not an issue for us as we travelled with back packs but something to be aware of. Breakfast was great with a decent variety. We used the spa facilities and they were great only regret we should have used more. Staff throughout hotel are amazing and truly helpful. My wife's birthday fell during our stay and unexpectedly she was left cards and a small gift. I hadn't mentioned the birthday so they staff must have picked up the info when we handed our passports in. I would definitely stay here again if O come to Jersey."

"No air conditioning , very small rooms and they didn’t function welll , more storage / shelf on bathroom would make a massive difference to comfort, l untold them l was disabled and room was a long way from lift and required lifting my disabled wheeled walker down 3 very large steps which meant if l was on my own l was stranded , but other than that all Ok"

The Atlantic Hotel - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

The Atlantic Hotel - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is beautifully situated, welcoming and very comfortable. The rooms have every amenity including bathrobes, the grounds are extensive - scorched dry at the moment - but well cared for. There's a nice small outside pool with sunbeds and an spa which I did not use. Only two small quibbles: the hairdryers are prehistoric! You have to keep your finger on the switch to keep them on. And as a woman travelling on her own, the staff occasionally made me feel invisible. For example, I sat in the bar from 6.10 to 6.40 p.m and nobody came to offer me a drink or to ask if I wanted to eat. As soon as my brother-in-law turned up, it took about 30 seconds for us to get service. Otherwise the whole experience was excellent."

The Old Courthouse Inn

The Old Courthouse Inn

8/10 Good
"Breakfast was wonderful. Lots of cafes and restaurants close by. Positioned right on the harbour and close to public transport. This B & B has single rooms! The main down side was no lift and had to climb quite a few stairs. A suggestion would be to use a top sheet as the duvet was too hot. Staff were friendly and always helpful."
