"on arrival, the property stunk and had bad odour of mice or rats but we did not see any, we found nail clipping on the floor and looked not well cleaned. On the first evening, people arrived at the property and showed us that they also booked the same property and questioned our booking, was awkward and embarcing to my wife and kids. Day 3 while we sat eating we found mice running in the middle of the reception. we left the next morning, one day early. Total miss selling."

"We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at High Cove! The location is fantastic—it is wonderfully quiet, family-friendly, and offers easy access to the North Cornwall countryside while serving as a great base to explore the rest of Cornwall. The only minor downside for us was finding the exact holiday home within the park, as the instructions weren't quite clear. "Staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival and also for dinner time. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. There is a good amount of parking onsite and the village is all well within walking distance. We did find the bed / mattress a little on the hard side and the fan was very noisy so we couldn't keep it on overnight."

One small note, the rooms are on the upper levels so if you have mobility issues best to contact the hotel first . Brilliant location right in the heart of Truro. Will be staying again."

"We did a 2 night stay at the Atlantic Hotel and while it was generally good, there are a few things that in my opinion do not fit with the luxury hotel vibe that I expected: - The breakfast was mediocre and was all buffet style. For the class of hotel, I expected the option of some cooked to order dishes. -There was no mattress protector on the bed - Amenities in the room were lacking - there was no shower cap or moisturiser in the bathroom - particularly unusual in a spa hotel -We arrived very early but were not given the option to leave our details so we could be contacted if the room was ready early. Instead the receptionist just told us we couldn't check in until 3pm. I had paid extra for a superior seaview room but on getting to the room there was no view of the sea at all - unless you went to the end of the balcony and looked around the corner. It would have been difficult to even class that as a partial seaview. However, all credit here to Katya(?) on reception who immediately moved us to an alternative room with an absolutely brilliant sea view. I'm sure we can't be the first people to be disappointed by that original room and I would suggest management look at reclassifying it. On the positive side the hotel location was brilliant, with easy access to lovely coastal walks and the beach and the room we were moved to was great, with loads of space."

"Very friendly staff, showed me to my room and made sure I was aware of which doors would be closed at which times and where everything was. The room was cosy and comfortable. I had a texmex grill for dinner in the pub which was delicious, and the breakfast which was included in the price of the room was also extremely tasty with a great range of options available. Would definitely stay again if I’m in the area. Thank you."
