"This property was sadly disappointing. The disappointed begs with the foul odor that permeated the lobby. Staff were nice but not super friendly for being in the hospitality industry. Like they were just doing a job. Lobby was uninviting, the bar was more like a mall kiosk with some random seating nearby. The rooms don’t look like they’ve been updated since the 70s. The AC spewed mildew into the air. Paid more for an ocean view only to find out all rooms have an ocean view. We couldn’t bring ourselves to eat in the dining room. The front desk provided wonderful nearby options. Nothing on any booking apps mentioned the pool, a bar, and a restaurant are all closed. Even signage in the building still referred to them despite being closed for months. Housekeeping was inconsistent following our eco-friendly preferences (based on the placard in the room), never left the same towels, or a floor mat, sometimes made the bed and sometimes didn’t. Ignored the DND sign on the door and came in. Safe in room also didn’t work. The fridge was gross to touch and wobbled. The windows had hand prints all over them. On our last day, a guest in the lobby asked about our experience, said his was the same, and that he felt badly for bringing his wife and children there. "

"Unfriendly staff, room charges not permitted for restaurants or lobby purchases. Arrived at 3pm for check in, did not have a room till 5:30pm. Had lunch and dinner at the restaurant, and breakfast next morning at the café: waited more than an hour and a half for food on all three occasions. For dinner: ordered one cheese pizza, took almost 2 hours and showed up raw in the middle. They brought it back 40min later, still raw in the middle having just been broiled on top. Two towels provided in room for 2 adults, 2 kids, and no towels available at pool area for swimming. Be careful, they have a house next door that they either claim you you booked instead of your standard room, or try to convince you to move to as an “upgrade” (our party had two rooms and experience both scenarios). Don’t be fooled, this is not on the property and not available through Expedia. It seems to be a side hustle. We were treated as an unwelcome nuisance throughout our two day, one night stay. Not impressed at all"
