Perfect spot to visit the vineyards and walking distance to good food in every price range. The small touches, 2 luggage valets in the room, fresh baked cookies, staffed breakfast employee to ensure excellent service. Staff was friendly and solved small issues quickly.

Awesome St Helena boutique hotel

Hands down the best place to stay in St Helena. It’s a short walk to all the shops and the best restaurants. Hotel manager Erwin and the entire staff do everything they can to ensure your stay is fantastic.

Great hosts, comfy stay

The concierge hosts were lovely and offered us wine and waters upon arrival. They were available to answer questions about the area and provided great recommendations. They also baked fresh cookies for guests in the evening 👌 The complimentary breakfast was excellent as well. Clean, spacious, quiet rooms. Great location in the center of town. We loved the hotel and will be back again soon.

Perfect St Helena getaway

We were greeted by Sabrina in the lobby who was warm and hospitable! We were impressed by the daily morning breakfast spread. Very happy with the size of the room. A perfect location to enjoy the heart of St Helena. Can’t wait to come back!

Wydown in wine town

Cute hotel near restaurants, shops, and wineries. The staff were very welcoming and their check-in system is great and easy to use. The room itself was clean and beautifully decorated. I loved the large windows overlooking a park. There is street noise in the morning, but you’re right on the Main Street, so that was expected. I highly recommend staying and would stay here again when I am back in the area.

My husband and I stayed for a birthday weekend. Our room was very comfy and clean, the staff was very friendly and breakfast was amazing! Great location too. We would definitely stay here again!

The positive points of staying at WyDown hotel: This hotel is located in St Helena’s downtown on Main Street, even though hotel’s in a old building, but its lobby and rooms look very nice and very clean, it’s managers and staffs are well trained, they are friendly, and always willing to help. The first day after my husband and I arrived at WyDown, we couldn’t rest in peace because the heavy traffic noise from outside our room’s windows. The next morning I got an email from manager Michael, who promising to let us change room, by the afternoon we were able to move into a much quiet room. I’m very happy for hotel management’s quick response to our situation. Here’s some suggestions for the hotel: 1) improve the insulation of hotel’s windows 2) replace room’s tv screen to the wall which facing the bed’s headboard, not to the side of the bed. 3) add some simple morning bread toast or cereals in hotel’s continental breakfast

Great hotel but traffic noise was noticeable

Outstanding and charming hotel with a very friendly staff. The ONLY problem was the traffic noise from the street facing room. Once you get used to it, you're ok, but you have to get used to it.

Cozy hotel in the heart of St. Helena

This a small boutique hotel that has amazing facilities and excellent service. It is quiet and private but is located right in downtown St. Helena with easy walking access to local shops and restaurants. The daily breakfast was just what we needed to start our days, and the concierge and staff are very attentive and supportive. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Napa.

Spa made it worthwhile

Spa priveleges were wonderful. Although thd spa is 1/4 mile up the road, access to the lane pool, fitness center, and other facilities made it worthwhile. Plua your pass has in and out access, so you can come and go all day. Staff at the hotel were super friendly. Breakfast was unique for a hotel, but quite delightful.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! The building’s interior has a hip and modern vibe. Service was warm and friendly. Room was spacious. Appreciated the access to a semi private outdoor patio. The second floor halls are hardwood flooring which makes late night arrivals noisy. The hvac system in the room was also much too loud for our liking and didn’t consistently keep the desired room temp. Continental breakfast was perfect for an early morning start and hotel is in a great location in St. Helena.

Great 12 room hotel right in town. Large room. Well equipped. There’s a breakfast available daily, too. Breads, yogurts, quiche, fruit. Parking is in a large lot behind the hotel.

Great wine tasting stay.

Fantastic boutique hotel in a great location downtown. The hotel only has 12 rooms, but the level of staffing and service made it feel as if it was much larger. The breakfast in the morning was light but felt high end with great coffee and tea options, numerous pastries (including ham and cheese croissants), high quality yogurt and locally sourced granola. There were several other options like hard boiled eggs and immunity shots. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious and well equipped.

Our group of 7 enjoyed a wonderful week at Wydown Hotel. The is a small hotel with an incredible vibe and the feeling that you’re staying with special friends. All of the staff were so personable and went the extra mile to accommodate every wish. The breakfast offering were delicious with quiche, bakery muffins, English muffins, yogurts, granola, etc. Warm chocolate chip cookies were provided as an after dinner treat. We loved the location and walked to many great local restaurants. We were just a short drive from some of Napa’s best wineries. We are already planning our next trip and will most definitely book the Wydown Hotel when we return.
