"Super clean bathroom and sleeping area. The exterior is a throwback to the 60s motorcourt era but that hides a modern, comfortable room. The manager/owner was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to our friends."

"We had a great experience at Budget Host Inn. The room was exceptionally clean, which we truly appreciated. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit, which was perfect for traveling with our 15-month-old. It provided much-needed extra space for naps and early bedtimes.
The location is ideal, being close to downtown and within walking distance of Shepler's Ferry. This made getting to Mackinac Island super convenient. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We'd definitely stay here again!"
"Our room was in great condition and clean. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast…ok. The room was extremely small and hard to get around with so many people. We did not use the pool, but our friends did and it was super cloudy, which looked gross, but could have been from an over abundance of chemicals? Either way, cleanliness is always my top concern and this place was just that, so I would definitely stay here again. "
"This was a lovely property. Only issue was the TV. Could barely get it to work. The front desk was of two opinions as to how to get it to work -- we lost out in the process. Get better remotes or better train your personnel to operate what you have."

This is a perfect place to stay, we didn’t mind it being on the smaller side as we spent most of our trip out and about. "The only problem is the location of the property. Don't get me wrong.. You was outstanding and fabulous. The time it takes to get anywhere is 40minutes to an hour. If we were bikers and they had electric bikes then it's perfect. PLAN well ahead to go to dinner, shop in town or do anything outside of the resort. This place was truly special but the moving around quickly was the only issue. I would recommend and also I would stay here again and again. "
"This was our second visit to Cedars Motel and it was great just as the first visit! Hannah and Alex are both very welcoming and friendly! Very helpful with answering questions about the area and Mackinac Island and things to do. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and they have a common area for making a bonfire and sitting around. Also provide continental breakfast! Definitely will continue booking a stay with Cedars!"
