"The ground floor room was clean except for an awful pet (dog) smell. I was told it was not a pet room but the smell of dog urine was overwhelming. They could not accommodate moving us to another room. They had housekeeping spray the room which helped somewhat but soon wore off. They did not make up our room after the 2nd night, so we had to get towels from reception. The reception staff were polite and tried to help. "Overall the room and property was clean and well maintained. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Property is in a good area with good food options in walking distance. We really only had two issue with our stay. One was that the fitted sheets barely fit the bed. The corner would pop off throughout the night and have to be constantly put back on. "The hotel is peaceful and quiet plus you don’t hear anything from other rooms. The staff are very pleasant and so helpful. The amenities are a plus Kuerig coffee and cups and creamer plus wine glasses and opener. Mini fridge. An atrium with colorful bistro sets and games and coffee. Location is perfect. Walking distance to all you want or need. Free cafe breakfast from 7-9 good food. Other nice little things. We loved our stay."

"This was a unique place to stay for a night after flying into Portland. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. You can hear the music from downstairs but they don’t play too late. There was a band playing in the saloon during our stay so they
had a cover charge to get into the saloon that was not included in your hotel stay. Luckily they had an outdoor area that is feee to sit at and eat."

"The motel was excellent. But I will not do business with Expedia ever again. I understand, now, this is how you operate but it was not obvious that I rented something where you were able to charge my account and it cleared my bank several days BEFORE we ever even got there.
