"I stayed at Southey House for two nights and it was a very nice stay. The room was clean and spacious and had a refrigerator and water, coffee and tea. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good with eggs, bacon, oats, yogurt, fresh fruit, and more. The bed was very comfortable and had a nice and varm duvet. "This was a fantastic find. So happy we decided to stay here. Excellent accommodation and wonderful host. Could not ask for better. Highly recommend if you are in the area. "

"This old-fashioned guest house is a lovely place to stay in the central Durban area. We really appreciated the ease of getting around -- easy access to many good things. The owners are friendly, and the staff are outstanding. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"They had amazing bfast excellent staff and clean rooms but what I found baffling is that the hotel is not wheelchair friendly they have no ramps into the property just stairs"

"KZN Park View Guest House is an affordable option in the Durban area. The room was clean, the shower was hot and had great pressure and there were a few lovely cafes walking distance."

"We found the service industry in South Africa to be one of the best of any place we have traveled and the hotel and staff did not disappoint. We were very pleased with everything. The Beach view was a bonus"

"Easy and friendly check in "

Refused to give me an extra card and only wanted me to get me card for my second stay even though I said I was adding an extra person , after saying I was adding an extra person and she charged me she said she needed to charge again cause she didn’t hear me say I was...

"Great locationIt was a good relaxed and quite stay. Host is welcoming and very helpful. I certainly will be booking for my next stay in the city. I can’t rate excellent, as there is always a room for improvement. I recommend Mackaya Guest Hiuse! "

"Check-in was horrendous. The toilet was not cleaned. The TV did not work. The aircon remote was missing and the lights would not turn off."
