We had a great time. Two good pool bars and nice pool areas. Some construction going on but it wasn’t bad. This is a good property for the price. Not 5 star Ritz Carlton but good family beach hotel.

Building 4 I stayed in is horrible and the bed was sunken in. I guess 1 and 2 was renovated yet I had to pay the same price for low quality. Will not go back nor do I recommend.

The beach was visible from our room. The room was not real clean & we had to ask for linens for the sofa bed. There was only 1 working ice machine for all 5 floors & many mornings there were no pool towels available. Staff was friendly. Apparently the hotel is being demolished soon for a JW Marriott to be built in its place so I don’t think they’re putting money into St Pete Shores for any improvements.

Shabby motel within the larger Sirata Neach complex. The place must be getting knocked down soon, it is awful. I spnt over £300 pounds to stay here, then got charged a $49 service charge - for what im not sure? At most property is 1 or 2☆ - read the recent reviews before booking! Toilet didnt flush, water wouldn't drain from the sink, stains on pillows, litter on the outdoor walkways to room doors - absolutely gross

I will start off by saying that the staff, especially the bartenders and front desk staff, were amazing and as helpful as they could possibly be. With that said, check in was a nightmare. In the first room we had, the air conditioning was making a loud piercing sound that couldn’t be fixed. We got moved to a second room- got new keys and walked in on someone who was already assigned to that room. Room 3 finally worked but you can tell the owner’s only care about the main Sirata hotel because this room was so insanely worn down and dirty. We survived because the grounds are beautiful (although the construction noise was insanely loud and so many of the paths were blocked with construction equipment). Overall, our stay was great but this hotel needs to be condemned and they need to start over (which I think is their plan, hence why it’s such a disaster) Rum runners and Happy Harry’s bartenders and waiters/waitresses are 10/10. :)

The room was surrounded to be ready at 4, but wasn’t ready until 4:30, I requested a pack and play 3 times and it wasn’t delivered until 8pm and left outside our door with the sheets and blankets. The rooms were absolutely disgusting and dirty with stains all over the linens and curtains. There was food left in the freezer and the floors were dirty. The ac made a terrible loud noise all night and the toilet kept running. The hotel was old and not well kept. The only positives were the beach access and the wait staff by the pool.

The room was 1.5 hrs late for check-in but they credited us $50 at the restaurant to which we didn’t get a chance to use. There were no wash cloths or hand towels in the room, only regular shower towels.

Check in was a mess. Room wasn’t very clean, sink had hair and a braces rubber band and wouldn’t drain. Walked all the way to the check in counter to ask if someone could come clean the bathroom and housekeeping was already gone for the day. They gave us a different room. Walked all the way back to the new room only to find out the keys wouldn’t work. Walked all the way back to the front desk and had the reactivate the keys. Walked all the way back (there are 4 separate buildings and ours was not near the main check in) and keys still didn’t work. However, on the second trip down there I had asked for the direct phone number (because it’s not listed and the one on the confirmation email was not right) so I called the number and after waiting 15 min outside in the dark someone came and reprogrammed the door loc so we could finally get in. Property had 2 pools and one hot tub and was located on a nice beach. However it was rather run down and not very clean. I found out they had recently be bought by Hilton so they may be in the process of fixing it up but I was a little disappointed overall.

We stayed in building 4 king ocean view room. Definitely outdated but overall decent. Rumrunners is perfect for breakfast and drink. We’re going to wait until the renovation is complete to return and try out the updated rooms.

We enjoyed our 1st ever visit to St. Pete's Beach. Our condo at St. Pete Shores Hotel was comfortable and in a good location. There was quite a bit of construction adjacent to the hotel which took away from the view from our balcony, but the typical noise experienced with construction was not an issue at all. So overall the construction did not interfere with our trip.

Room was filthy not mention lobby had no one there for over an hour 20 minutes so we couldn’t check in til late then got horrible directions to our room and were outside going from building to building trying to find our room just to get inside the room and it looked like it hadn’t even been clean. Oh and they charged us a $300 deposit

Great location. Close to restaurants and stores for basic needs. Beautiful beach and nice pool. However, the room was shabby and needed updating. The shower didn’t have much water pressure. It was fairly noisy until late at night - the rooms must have very thin walls because you could hear everything. Overall not terrible but also not great.

When we booked this property, we were never told that there was going to be construction the entire time. It was noisy and it smelled. Our room was far from the pool and ocean and the maid rarely came to check on us. We had to go find her when we needed toilet paper for our room.

this property is somehow connected the Sirrata its a older property and couid use a lot of general updating ...the rooms were clean as far as counters showers but corners trim etc are overlooked ..none of the room are directly facing the ocean but you can see at a 90 degree angle .. the problem with this hotel is the ridicules fees they hook you with a lower rate then nail you with a $45 per day day resort fee that is for the use of there room phone and other made up stupidly....then on top of that $25 to park your own car ...add that to the price of there lower rate another thing that really shock me was wanting to have a beer poolside is the insane price ...$10 for a 12oz plastic cup of draft beer ..add $6 for a well drink

You're paying for the location, and that's it. If you just want a room to crash at night, then it's sufficient enough... But don't expect anything beyond that. Make sure to wear slippers because the floors are disgusting; I went barefoot at first, until I realized the bottom of my feet were black! There was urine at the base of the toilet. Room service makes the bed, but doesn't actually change the sheets. They didn't replace the coffee, which was annoying when you wake up and realize you don't have coffee. Then you go down to the front desk to request more, but no one is there. Went down to the beach, where they had tons of beach chairs available, assuming they're provided by the hotel as part of the cost of amenities... But nope! As soon as we got comfortable in the chairs, a hotel staff member came over to tell us we had to pay $20 (per person) to use the chairs. Are you kidding me?! I read it was an extra charge for the cabanas, but the chairs?! Overall, disappointed by the entire stay. Had I know, I would have paid the extra money to stay somewhere nicer. Would not recommend.

Room needed to be updated. Bathroom sink looked like it had been painted. Paint was cracked and peeling. Curtains were wrinkled and stained. $40 per day resort fee added on. Tried to charge me $25 dollars a day for parking at the hotel. Never heard of such a thing! I had a meltdown and it was lowered to $3 a day. Should have been zero! Beach is awesome. Pool was warm.

Don’t let Expedia fool you with the perfect photos. This property is currently under construction and the entire time all we heard were cement trucks and drilling. The beach was closed off due to the construction. We had absolutely no idea this was happening before booking. Also, they have a few different buildings. We were given a room in one of the buildings that is set to be demolished soon. The sliding glass door croaked and groaned as we tried to pry it open. The elevators were dirty with what looked like pee stains on the floor, not to mention the glass. Buyer beware.
