"We arrived on a Saturday night at midnight to a lobby full of drunk young adults. Nearly an hour later we were sent to our room, which we found was dirty. And I don't just mean that the housekeeper forgot it. There was trash behind the bed & nightstand. There was one place to plug anything in & it was on one side of the bed, leaving the next person to charge their electronics in the ONE other outlet in the room. The couch was stained, the mattress felt like it hadn't been changed out since 1979....

"This is an amazing location located in the perfect area for a long stay vacation outside of the normal tourist traps. It’s full of great mom and Pop restaurants and coffee shops central located to the beach. They provide everything you could need if not more. I can’t wait to come back sometime when the restaurants open and the rooftop bar is fully functional, but they’re still recovering from the hurricane in this area. There is so many great things about this location that we’ve stayed here...

When a hotel caters to families, a pull down showerhead would be so beneficial!! The littles had a hard time getting shampoo and conditioner out. "We stayed here 4 nights. Beach Haven is a quaint and relaxing place, not swarming with large crowds and partying. The pool is beautiful and we loved sitting in the chairs overlooking the beach. Our first 2 nights were not too restful because of the mattress and it was difficult getting up the steps. As soon as the staff found out about the issue we were allowed to change rooms, which was so delightful. I did not want to leave. I would recommend this place to anyone!"
