"This place was the best! The owner Matthew personally met us and spent a lot of time talking about his property and all the area attractions! Being in the hotel business myself for over 40 years, I would highly recommended The Lofts for your stay in St.Pete Beach. The place was extremely clean, had a great location and was quiet and peaceful…but only a short walk to the beach and restaurants! Also, very clean heated pool!😎"

"Our stay at the Carlton House was pleasant. The owner was accommodating when I realized we would b on the 2nd floor and would have difficulty climbing the stairs. She quickly made arrangements with first floor accommodation as well as handicap parking right in of front of our apt. The grounds were nice with a pool and several sitting areas along with gas grills. It was a short walk (aprox 3 min walk to the beautiful Upham beach on St. Pete. Several restaurants within walking distance. Thanks...

"Had an awesome stay at this almost beachside hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and comfortable, and the swimming pool was a perfect spot to relax after a day in the sun. Overall, a smooth, enjoyable experience and a place I’d happily return to."

"Pretty & new lobby. Rooms are very spacious & nice. Bathroom was simple & the shower wasn’t clean with a previous guess clump of hair on the wall. I asked for it to be cleaned & 2 days later I took the hair off myself. The light also didn’t work in the shower but did get fixed. They never replaced our TP so we had to request more & we never had tissue so i requested some & they never gave us any. This made the hotel feel like a 2 star place. "

"Room wasn't ready at 4. We had a hard day and we both are handicapped. They asked to switch us to another room that was ready and comparable. I asked if still ocean view and they said yes. Got to room, NO OCEAN VIEW!! Only view was of courtyard. We were too tired to ask to be moved again. We were very upset as this was a special trip and had not seen each other in 40 yrs!"

"The location and view from the bar is perfect. Lots of fun at the bar on the deck. The hotel itself was poorly staffed, our rooms (514-515) on second floor were exceptionally loud and not clean or comfortable. Old bed, old pillows and dirty floors. If you want to party on the beach, it’s great. "

"The room was 1.5 hrs late for check-in but they credited us $50 at the restaurant to which we didn’t get a chance to use. There were no wash cloths or hand towels in the room, only regular shower towels."
