Duke of Normandie Hotel

"Stayed here for 4 nights. Hotel is brillantly located in a quiet street just off the high street in St Peter Port. so it close to all the ammenities you need such as ferry port, shops and restaurants. The only issue, we had was that the first room they put us in was on the ground floor room. The bathroom of this room is adjacent to the street, therefore my wife did not feel safe using the bathroom. We talked to the staff and in fairness they moved us to a room on the top floor which was more than suitable for the rest of the stay. The staff very kind and courteous and could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was of a very good quality. I would stay here again but would have to stipulate they I would not like to stay in the ground floor room."

Our check in was good, only small point, there were 2 Men on reception, one being very helpful to a guest, another looking at a screen and didnt acknowledge us or other guests waiting, was a bit awkward. Breakfast was amazing! Everything you could wish for. Bar staff very helpful."

"Such a beautiful location, we had a small double room which had a sea view, it had everything we needed, water, tea , coffee etc which was topped up every day ,along with shampoos etc, and our bed made too . The staff are so friendly and helpful. Great breakfast selection and also in the restaurant in the evening . Lovely bar to sit and relax in after a day out exploring. It was great we could take our dog with us too. We had our car but you easily go anywhere by bus which stopped right outside the hotel. Walked on the beautiful beach every day which was just across the road ."

I'd be very happy to stay againn though."
