"Amazingly quaint location views and steps from a subdued river Thames. Convenient location short Uber to either Windsor or King HenryVIII Hampton palace. Straight into London Waterloo station. Mason and Judy thoroughly thoughtful and kind. English family town. Loved our stay"

"Reception desk minimal, breakfast good. Clerk had trouble finding my reservation, then asked for my passport, then settled for driver's licence (but why?)."

"Arrived at the hotel at 1:30pm as checkin was not until 3pm we sat in the bar and waited. Looking around the staff seemed flustered, stressed and any requests felt like a bit too much trouble. At 3pm went to check in and was told the room was still not ready. Only then were we allowed to use the facilities I.e outdoor pool.(would it have been too much trouble to offer this at 1:30pm?) we were told they would find us when the room was ready. At 6pm still no sign of staff so went to reception...

"It was the night before a very early flight. Good dinner at French restaurant in the hotel, clean room. Very handy for Terminal 5 - as at Terminal 5 ! Quick check in."

"The hotel is located pretty close to the Heathrow’s airport, less than 25 minutes using public transportation. The room was very clean, the bathroom spacious and clean. "The staff is wonderful the food and the bar was great. The only problem is the property is old. It is 11 century. It was cold in our room. We had to get an extra heater, but the Inn provided that and there was an issue with the water, we had no hot water one day. But again it’s 11 century Inn, I think it’s great for a night or two, but we stayed four nights, probably won’t do that again only because of the age, TV also was not working properly. We definitely will always go there for food and...

"The property is beautiful as was the room, unfortunately the tranquility was visual only. Loud music from pub was all afternoon until approximately 8 pm, and then we could still hear customer conversations. The next day was quieter but still was able to hear the restaurant customers. No sheers on window and because there is campground across the river we kept drapes closed for privacy, creating need for artificial lights. Be careful in shower, it’s beautiful but the shower floor is slippery. ...

"Our second stay here in the last year. Lovely property close to Heathrow Airport. Familiar staff were here again this year with special thanks to Cris who welcomes everyone at the Happy Hour on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. He has a gentle and very professional manner. Meme was assisting Cris during the Happy Hour days and impressed a room filled with guests as she stopped at every table asking if she could anything for us. She made several rounds. She was highly efficient. Navjot was a joy...

"Nice hotel by the airport. The bar and grill had a good choice of food if you don’t want to eat in the restaurant. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. They helped me book a private transfer to my terminal as I was too late for the bus. It was only £2 more. Would definitely stay again"
