"Room very clean and beds extra comfortable. Lots of small decorating features for a motel and gardens on grounds were extra beautiful. Rooms themselves felt older but with new furnishings. Overall a comfortable stay."

"We booked this hotel as a half way point on our way to Niagara Falls. From the moment we checked in the staff we incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the amenities were nice. My family enjoyed swimming in the pool. It’s near a chilis which was nice to stop and have dinner. If ever in the area again we would stay again!"

"Property was not equal to the price charged - restaurant was not open, no coffee was available in the room or elsewhere until breakfast. It felt like the property was going out of business or didn't want to be open during the slow period. They should have disclosed how things were. Lots of potential not utilized. It was a beautiful area and the building was great. Staff was great to deal with."

"I've stayed at this motel many times and find it to be a great balance of value vs. condition/cleanliness and a good stay. The staff literally could not be any friendlier and are a highlight of the stay, very accommodating and go out of their way to help with any needs you may have. I will definitely continue to stay here when I am in the area for hiking trips."

"Staff was friendly and accommodating (example: got to the complimentary breakfast 15 minutes before close. No coffee, so she cheerfully made a fresh pot just for us.) Place was clean;everything worked great. Had a nice bench seat outside the room to look at the mountains and relax after several hours of motorcycle riding. I would absolutely recommend the place and would stay there again."

"We were hoping to use the pool. It was NOT USABLE DUE TO the WATER BEING CLOUDY. The room had a bleach smell. We were promised a “free breakfast”. Instead, we received a granola bar and orange juice with mandarin orange segments at check in."

"The door handle and door mechanism in my room was covered in dust. The door to the bathroom had a hard time closing because it was warped. There was a large stain on the rug. There was a spider on the curtains. I left after one night of a two night stay."

"Quaint and comfortable stay for our one night in the most adorable town of Shelburne Falls. A walk to the river and the bridge of flowers at sunset gave us the most beautiful pictures. Owner was kind and helpful. We stayed here while my son biked at Thunder Mountain-a quick easy 10 min drive away and would stay again."
