"The only reason for four stars instead of five is because the corridors open to the outside, which means no air conditioning, and the elevators also had no air conditioning. It was quite hot outside so that made the space a bit stifling. Everything was clean, however. The location was great and close to a lot of places we wanted to go. The staff was very helpful and friendly."

"Historically my husband and I have been staying at this resort for YEARS. This was the last though - here is why: they kept charging my credit card fraudulent fees - I mean in excess. Expedia says I can’t mention prices - it was to the point my credit card company called me to alert theft concern. And 1 of the reasons Sonesta stated for these charges was “that you booked through a 3rd party app” But we prepaid in FULL And they kept changing the reasons or not providing any explanation...

"The room needs some updating as it is old and dated. Additionally, it was hard to fall asleep because we could hear people talking in the hall and doors opening and closing. Most annoying was hearing the ceiling creak every time someone upstairs moved about. It sounds like it isn’t supported properly or something. It kept waking us up. The breakfast was very very basic. We skipped it the second day altogether."

"The blonde woman at the check-in was very warm and welcoming. We were early and our room was not ready, but she said that she would call or text when it was. When we got into our room, it was amazingly small. But the number one main reason why I gave it three stars is because of the bleach smell. It smells like there had been a half a gallon of bleach just dumped in there and wiped around. My eyes were burning and there was no way I could stay. "This was a special celebration for 1st Cousins being reunited and celebrating a birthday. The villa was so beautiful and enjoyable. I would visit again."
