"Nice hotel overall. Although feel like the plumbing could do with a look at - quite a loud noise and through the night hearing it randomly. Room was kitted out well but could have done with a more thorough clean."

The bed was incredibly comfortable — the kind that makes it very hard to get up in the morning — and ensured a perfect night’s sleep after a long day. One standout detail was the shower: powerful, hot, and exactly what you want to relax and recharge. It’s a small thing, but it made a big difference. Overall, Lumley Castle delivers a unique and memorable experience. The combination of character, comfort, and outstanding service makes it a place I would happily return to and highly recommend, to the point we have booked to stay longer next year."
