" This is a wonderful B&B tucked away in the Northamptonshire village of Brigstock. We stayed in The Willow room for 2 nights. The room has a super comfy king size bed, with that home from home feeling. The roll top bath and walk in shower was a pleasant surprise! Sam was the most gracious host, her attention to detail, super breakfast choices, and cookie treats in our room. We will most definitely be back to Swallows Rest on our next UK visit, and have no hesitation in recommending a stay here."

"The parking area was safe and conveniently located to the hotel - no long walks required The hotel was beautiful and had lovely landscaped gardens which were well maintained. Staff were very opleasant and helpful and everywhere was clean It is a historic building with a wow factor but is up to date inside. We had a standard room which was lovely Dinner was great with plenty of choices and we will definitely stay again pamela"

"We loved our stay at Rushton Hall and will be returning as soon as we can. The building itself is extremely beautiful and you feel like you’re stepping into history. The grounds are lovely for a walk (although would be nice to have more outside lighting at night, as it was very dark trying to walk around after dinner). The spa has excellent facilities - the swimming pool is warm (which is rare!) with a comfy hot jacuzzi and dry and wet sauna/steam rooms, and plenty of beds around the swimming...

"Lovely pub and restaurant. Room lovely and clean but didn't need a disabled bathroom and extra lighting that was bright in room at night. Large family group staying next to us, who had early morning meeting in hallway and no soft closing doors so quite noisy. Staff excellent. "

"Corridors very noisy late into early hours also “receptionist” banging on my door would not answer when I asked who it was as single female travelling alone found this unnerving should be considered! "
