"room smelled like an ashtray, and I don't smoke. cigarette burns in the bedspread. only has one washer and dryer. but otherwise it was a pleasant stay."
"Upon arrival at 4:30pm on Fri 3/13 I was told our room was not ready and we would need to wait about 30 minutes. I told the young man we needed to get changed because we had an event at 6:00pm. We finally got checked in around 5:05pm. The room was not satisfactory! Lighting was horrible - the room was dark even with all lights on. There was no stopper in the bathroom sink; Only 1 mirror in the room and that was the bathroom. The bed/mattress was sunken in the middle - very uncomfortable. I reported the missing stopper from the sink on Friday night and even checked on Saturday morning to see if this had been reported. It never got fixed. The floor in the elevator and the area in front of the elevator on the 1st floor had spill spots the entire weekend. No one ever cleaned these black spots up. Our room did not get cleaned well on Saturday - spills on the tables and water spots on the Bathroom counter was not touched. Only thing done was they made the bed, Trash cans at the front entrance were running over by Sunday morning. I was very disappointed with this property. I have never seen a Marriott property look like or be maintained like this. Not to mention my bill showed Paid in full at check out but this morning I see a new charge to my account. When I called, the young lady said it's probably the charge for "incidentals" that they do at check in and it will "eventually" be refunded. OMG! I will NEVER stay at another Fairfield property again. Frances Mills"
"The staff is the best part of this place. The room was nice, comfortable and clean, not overly larger but nicely appointed. But the desk clerk at check-in went out of her way to put us in a quiet spot and then gave us recommendations for dinner. Housekeeping cheerfully supplied extra pillows and a blanket.
Breakfast is a bit scanty, carb heavy but the coffee was good. It’s a basic place so you can’t expect Belshazzar’s feast, but a boiled egg would be nice. The breakfast room was clean and tidy.
Recommend, especially as staff were so nice."
"The AC and hot water works great. The pool had stuff floating in it. Jets in hot tub was not functioning properly. The front desk personnel were the west part of the stay. One girl who was there when we checked in and was the only person who kept the service from being poor. The other 3 people I dealt with were rude and when you ask them a question they referred you to the manager, who according to the name tag was the person I dealt with last"
"The staff upon check in was nice but the reservation didn’t allow for the Hilton check in app (digital key) as my email indicated, so the extra time at a late night check in was inconvenient. The room itself had a smell to it as you can tell it’s “pet friendly” and the rug seemed wet (maybe they were shampooed?). The AC rattled all night and I took a quick video and showed the desk upon check out and was advised they’d “make a note”. The breakfast selection was extremely limited but wasn’t terrible, the area itself was much smaller than the Hamptons I’ve frequented. Overall the stay was average nothing spectacular. We ended up sleeping/showering and leaving early to go eat and head home. "
"Super helpful in a very difficult time while 900miles from home. I can’t say enough. So grateful. Went through 10 hotels before finding this one. Thank you from a very worried mother. "
