"Very good hotel all around"

"I chose this hotel somewhat randomly and I'm so happy I did! I was looking for a hotel with good ratings about 1-1.5 hours out of NYC as I was driving down from MA for a show. This one seemed to fit the bill when I booked it, and it was an added bonus to find out that the staff was friendly and incredibly helpful, especially Amanda and Alfredo at the front desk. They helped me with some check-in questions and made everything go very smoothly. It made all the difference for my trip and really took away any anxiety I had about my accomodations for this trip. The hotel was very clean and seemed to have a lot of amenities to offer (although I wasn't really there long enough to take advantage of them). Parking is free (and there was plenty), my room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. I'm definitely planning to stay here again next time I'm driving down to NYC for an evening show!"

"Overall this was a superb stay. Great location for my trip, decent amenities. Was shocked, however, at the non existent internet. It was spotty at best, and mostly zero signal at all. There's no reason not to have solid and consistent internet in this day and age, so definitely should be addressed. Also the hotel promotes the morning breakfast and the in-room materials say "We'll bring a French Press to your room" - implying it was part of the included amenities. Was surprised at the charge for it at check out (especially since whoever prepared it clearly had never prepared a French Press before. The staff was superb - Jeiny, Erickah and Nia in particular. Ordered two meals from the Italian restaurant and both were delicious. Had them delivered to my room (lovely luxury) and want to especially recognize George on the staff there for his professionalism. "

"I asked the desk clerk (a middle-aged male) who checked me in for an extra blanket. (It was chilly on my check-in.) As best as I could understand, he told me that there was already one on my bed and that was all I was entitled to. Later as it got colder I asked the desk clerk (by this time a 20s-something woman) for a blanket. A few minutes later, I got a knock on my door by an on-site maintenance person handing me a wadded-up (Not folded) blanket. I think it had been fished out of the trash. I used it as it was better than nothing."

"The room was comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable. Iron was great but the ironing board was a little flimsy. Please supply more places to hang towels to dry."

"Beautiful hotel. Nice, big, super clean rooms with a kitchenette and small living room area. Breakfast was good. Not the best I’ve seen but they had the basics. Staff was amazing. Would definitely recommend."

"Terrible communication all around. The owner was very aggressive. The room wasnt available when we arrived, so I spent the next hour speaking to Expedia about refunds. Terrible experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone."
