Came for a fly fishing trip and loved every minute. The food at the pub is excellent and the rooms are very nice. Gorgeous garden and very well located for fishing, walks into Stockbridge, and generally enjoying the countryside. Staff was very helpful as well and arranged a pre-made lunch for us to take for our day on the water.

Lovely room in a charming refurbished pub, located in a beautiful area. The pub is really well managed and staff were very helpful. The chef was excellent, with high quality dining and providing extensive options for one gluten free guest. Great breakfast options, cosy ambience and nice atmosphere.

great place. The service was excellant. Parking was a bit tight but it was sorted in the end. The meal was expensive but worth it in the end. Rooms were very nice All in all a great place to stop will return if oppurtunities arrive.

Absolutely beautiful country pub, and a stunning luxurious room with a freestanding bath and a four poster bed. Extremely comfortable and lots of lovely touches like great coffee and delicious biscuits. We very much enjoyed dinner in the pub and breakfast the next morning too - the food was exceptional, as was the ambiance. We will be back.

Room very small and in need of refurbishment. Peeling wallpaper, flaking paint, bathroom door won’t close, shower door won’t close properly. Bed linen and bathroom clean but other parts of the room not so clean. Food excellent and plentiful with mostly good service. Sunday evening problematic and rather confused. Staff very friendly.
