"You have to basically navigate everything on your own. Do not expect a tour of the youth hostile but very much... go ahead and find your way. If you are used to this system then it works. It's very Swedish and you don't need to talk to anyone if you don't want to. However the hostile is very social and for the most part when you reach out and ask you get answers. The kitchen where they offered free pasta is the social spot.... a lot of gold gathered there and in the entrance of the youth...

"Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. Situated on a lovely peaceful island within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the museums. The breakfast is amazing with an enormous variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. "Staff tries to keep it tidy and clean. Guests are not allowed to walk on their shoes but rather leave them at the entrance inside. Slippers were provided. It’s a hostel centrally located in the main strip. Bathrooms are shared, rooms are much compact; important fo know beforehand. Shops and plenty of eateries nearby. It has acceptable standards. "Beautiful area with a view of the beach and many walking trails, walking distance to public transport and a small square with shops and restaurants. The rooms are small but clean, there is a shared shower room, shared bathrooms, and a shared kitchen. You will need to clean up after yourself if cooking. The staff is only there in the morning but very kind and helpful. It is a good place to stay if you like hostels."
