"At first glance from the outside the hotel looks rundown. VERY DECEPTIVE!! This is a grand old building coming back to life. The interior has been updated and modernized. Very comfortable, clean and modern rooms. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I will pass this way again and will stay here again."

The property itself is beautiful, with lots of plants and gardens, and it looks like the host is continually improving and adding to the space. The room was clean and comfortable once we got settled. "The location was very convenient. We had stayed here before but it was totally redone and beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Bed was very comfortable and room was beautiful. My favorite was the farm fresh yogurt machine you could add granola, nuts, cranberries and brown sugar to but had run out. The staff told me they would make more and it was close to 10:00 closing time for the continental breakfast! We would definitely go there again on our trip upstate!!!"
