"Lovely room, good tea/coffee making facilities & supply of fresh bottled milk. Great supply of bathroom toiltries. Staff were extremely friendly & the food was delicious, fresh & cooked to order...top marks to the chef !! One of our best stays, would definitely return to this wonderful pub."

"We had a great stay at The Evenhill. All the staff were very friendly. Our room was clean, warm and spacious. The shower was great and the towels were nice and large. We didn’t get full WiFi signal in the room, but it wasn’t a problem. We had dinner in the pub and everyone’s meal was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was excellent as well; with plenty to fill us up!"

"We attended TOR rooms for a nice getaway before my wife gives birth, we had been approximately 3 years ago and had a great time. Unfortunately with the new owners it has gone completely downhill. Upon entering the room there were around 8-9 large spiders. Ordinarily, a couple of spiders I would chuck out of the window. This time however it was almost like an infestation. I had to kill about 6 and flush them before my wife would even settle. We could not get through to the staff on the phone so...

"Stayed at The Millers Arms for a show at The Marlowe Theatre. Lovely pub, room was well looked after and clean. Staff very friendly and a great breakfast included as well. 2 min walk to the theatre and a great choice of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend "

Not how we imagined our celebration with friends would be We complained but the General Manager was only contactable by email. He still has not replied. The hotel is not nearly as grand and welcoming as advertised. There are better places to stay in Canterbury."

"About a 20-minute walk from the centre, this place is in a convenient and easy-to-reach location. The check-in instructions were clear and straightforward, which made arrival completely stress-free. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 10am. With a relatively late check-in time and quite an early check-out, a later check-out option would be much appreciated. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was on the minimalistic side, but still...

"The staff were fantastic very helpful and lovely to talk too and the room was beyond what I was expecting, beautifully clean lovely and warm the toilets were always clean and the shower was a walk in we absolutely enjoyed I stay and hopefully will be back next year. "Good location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase. Since I was on the top floor, this was much appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful starting with continental choices and then a full cooked meal with several choices on the menu. Very good value for the cost."
