"A really amazing property and possibly my favorite of our week long trip. We were only here one night, but it was perfect. The view was incredible and the space very clean. "Our stay at Torfhus Retreat was great. The location is perfect for exploring the Golden Circle – we could easily visit major sites without exhausting drives. "Wonderful cottage with all the kitchen items you need - toaster, oven, stove, coffee maker, kettle, fridge. Comfortable beds and linens, very quiet - out in the country, 20 minute drive to town (Selfoss) for groceries, restaurants, etc. The 2 family dogs are lovely. Communication was good, and no issues at check-in. Not far away from the Golden Circle route. Would highly recommend."

"This was a super cool place to stay... There is nothing like it around. Three sides of the building are 1-sided mirrors, so we had a 180 degree view from inside, but no one could see in. The 2-person hot tub was an added bonus. Very clean and located a little ways off the golden circle road. I would highly recommend for a very unique experience. "

"This was our favorite lodging while in Iceland! The owner was responsive and welcoming. The small house was incredibly clean and well supplied with everything we needed while there for three nights. The view was STUNNING! We saw the northern lights, watched horses, and played with the farm dogs! There was a good little pizza place about five minutes away and a grocery store and other stores about 10 minutes away. "
