Nestled in the Shenandoah Valley, this small town offers scenic hiking trails and the popular Smiley's Ice Cream shop for homemade treats. Visit nearby Waynesboro for the P. Buckley Moss Museum or head to Staunton's American Shakespeare Centre for world-class theatre performances.
Pros:
- very clean and comfy
- noticeably nicer than a hotel of the same chain that we stayed in the previous night
- decent breakfast, with nice crispy bacon
- quiet rooms with no noise heard from the nearby roads
Cons:
- have to drive to get to any restaurant

Wonderful single night stay at this hotel, I was uncertain where to book when there is so much choice but would 100% stay here again. We had such a warm welcome from Zoe on reception who was helpful and patient with our questions. The room was perfect for us and our three children with plenty of space for bags (so much better than the Hyatt hotel we had stayed at in Washington the previous two nights at more than double the price). Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The pool was a good...

We arrived after a very long drive, we were tired and cold but the welcome we had cheered us up!We were positively encouraged to partake of the hot choc and cookies and we felt our custom was valued.
The room was nice and clean, it was comfortable and we had a phone call to check all was well. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices so we could be as healthy or greedy as we wanted

Beautiful hotel on outskirts of town. Large rooms. Excellent shower and facilities in the hotel. Everything looked new. Used the gym. Breakfast great variety and helpful staff Great base for our road trip. Remember Staunton only comes alive at weekends so disappointed in town with most closed on Monday and Tuesday

Fantastic accommodation comprising of a king size bed, separate lounge area with 2 chairs and a TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. A very comfortable arrangement and superbly situated for exploring Staunton and the surrounding area.

Lovely historic group of buildings. Room was cozy and quiet. Lovely big bathroom and comfortable bed
Breakfast was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful
Very old tv, picture was fuzzy. Also, there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room (you can have a kettle, and teabags on request) but, seeing as there are no convenient stores/supermarkets nearby, it would have been nice to have a couple of bottles of water in the fridge

What should I expect during my Stuarts Draft aparthotel stay?
You'll probably stay more centrally in Stuarts Draft with an aparthotel or serviced apartment. You can also come to Stuarts Draft for its restaurants and shopping.
What are the must-see places to visit in Stuarts Draft?
George Washington National Forest and Schneider Community Park are a couple of lovely local spots to get outside and enjoy nature. While here, Windmill Square and Bunker Valley Golf Range are other places worth a visit.
What is an aparthotel?
An aparthotel is both a hotel and an apartment, offering the amenities you expect in a traditional hotel, and the space and privacy of an apartment. Feel like a local when you stay in apartment-style accommodation, usually located in the heart of Stuarts Draft. Enjoy making home-cooked meals in the private kitchen and having some extra space to spread out while you're in town.
