Clean, quiet. We’ve stayed multiple times. My only complaint, is that if I’ve reserved a room for 3 people, and booked a room with two queen beds, there be towels for all three guests. I know I can ask for more, but it’s inconvenient.

This property was run down - the cleanliness of the hotel was very sub standard - the room we were given had an unpleasant odour - perhaps it was a room spray or cheap cleaning chemicals - the shower curtain smelled when it got wet cracks in the bathroom drywall - black stains on the grout in washroom - the room had vinyl floor which one would think would be easier to clean however there was dirt and garbage under the bed - there were marks on the walls - the pillow cases were a dingy yellow grey colour mixed in with a newer white one - which made it stand out even more - there was hair stuck in the coffee maker - most likely from a cloth being wiped over it - I am not normally one to review a property but found this to be a very unkept hotel - arrived around 215 ( check in was 3 I was told I would have to wait untill 230 room not ready - understandably - however once 230 hit I was told - room was ready - when getting to room there were no cleaners to be found anywhere on floor? I think they just did this because there is a fee for early check in’s - the staff at front desk didn’t talk to me, instead talked to each other in a language I didn’t understand - the pool area was dirty and the water was a cloudy colour - the size of the pool was perfect - having both a shallow and a deep end - this hotel is located in a prime area in Sudbury close to many popular attractions - my daughter said she stayed here last year and had a upper level room that perhaps recently renovated

The hot tub wasn’t running, pool water smelled dirty, the house keeping did poor job cleaning as we found a bra and underwear. Lastly, the front desk guy was very rude to my daughter and I.

Very noisy hotel kids running all hours of the night dogs barking staff did not do a thing about it .. I don’t mind noise but after midnight it’s a little much when you need to wake up early. Not very sound proof can see hallways through door cracks. Ended up taking off a day early and lost money as they had no refunds

We chose this property for its proximity to Science North and its pool for a family trip to Sudbury. The location was great for this. The pool however was pretty basic and a little sketchy if I’m honest. The kids loved it, but the water was so cloudy you couldn’t see your waist. The pool area was a bit dirty, and in disrepair, and the water was COLD. Our room was clean and the bathroom etc in good shape, and functioned fine. Heads up though, I’m not sure there’s any soundproofing… we heard kids running in hallways, TVs, people talking etc all night long. We just turned up our white noise machines, but if you’re sensitive to noise, wouldn’t recommend. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Perkins restaurant was great- good food and excellent service. Our stay was *fine, but I’d probably look for something different for next stay.

There was such limited on site parking available that we spent at least half an hour every night driving around trying to figure it out. And when we asked the clerk in the lobby where we were supposed to park he said “anywhere, you don’t have to worry about getting a ticket” and when we let him know there was NO parking spots he didn’t have any other suggestions for us. The carpeting in the halls and stairs was heavily soiled and smelled horrible. When we walked into the room it smelled horrible. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet plane taking off and didn’t actually work, making some loud banging noises. There was water marks and stains running down the walls from all the humidity in the bathroom. There was no Kleenex or conditioner, and the two small shower towels they had were dirty. The drain didn’t work in the bathtub, so when you had a shower you were standing in water up to your ankles. The stair wells and hallways wreaked of cigarette and marijuana smoke, as did the room next to our non-smoking room. We chose a non-smoking room because our son has medical and breathing issues. Our family staying in another room that they had booked for four people only had two small shower towels. So when they went to the lobby to ask for more towels the clerk threw some towels onto the dirty check in counter for them.. not okay!

The main problem was the kids hockey team (North Bay Trappers) who stayed there for a tournament. Kids were running up and down the hallways, slamming doors, generally being nuisances past midnight. The staff spent most of the night going to ask the parents to get their kids under control, to no avail.

I appreciated the location of the hotel. It is very close to the hospital. I was very happy to learn that Perkins was located in the hotel. An old favourite breakfast place! It was nice to have the fridge in the room. No issues at all.

You couldn't see the bottom of the pool when you went swimming and I kept getting hair clumps in my hand. The smoke detector went off in the middle of the night which made four very scary stay we just packed up and went home they gave us a full refund which was nice breakfast was great.

They dont have hot.tub the rooms have damage like one room the drawers wont stay closed air conditioner/heat was so loud you cant sleep one room you could only shower as the spout you can push to have tub not many plug out lets door you have to make sure closed as it didnt close fully beds are hard and slide on floor they dont allow cots in room fire alarm went off at 1 am because of a water leak in a room worst stay but you get what you pay for some blackets had stains as well as towels the pillows were yellowish cases not white they supply the smallest shampoo but no conditioner as well will never stay again and its a 150 dollar deposit

Arrived at hotel and was told there was no parking left. We were told parking is not a part of the room rental by a VERY RUDE staff member who told us it is not her job or her problem. We asked for a refund and were told we’d have to wait until morning to speak to the manger. TV was broken, shower didn’t drain. Awful experience worst customer service. No parking.

The hotel is older and shows its age in the rooms, the room is functional but some leaks and toilet not flushing properly. They bed is older and sinking in middle and pillows are well lets say they are pillows . Its a cheap hotel so you get what you pay for and the rooms are clean but old smelling and feeling. If you want a 5 star hotel room dont stay you will not be happy and leave a bad review. If you want a cheap place to spend the night or weekend its a place to stay
